On December 23, 2016, NICON and VDA-HCM commenced the new factory in Cau Tram Industrial Park, Can Duoc District, Long An Province.

On December 29, 2017, NICON and AMIBA held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new factory with an area of two hectares at Singapore II.A Industrial Park, Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province.

On June 19, 2016, at the NICON Office, Mr. Vo Tri Nguyen (CEO of Nicon) and Mr. Yoshihiro Mori (CEO of Mori Industrial Group) signed a strategic partnership agreement. With this agreement, Mori Industrial Group becomes a strategic partner of Nicon Company.
